What is a username?

Usernames are how you connect with other people using Air. Unlike your display name and profile picture, your usernames aren’t visible to other users, even your Air contacts. Here are some more things to know about usernames:

• You can have up to five usernames.

• You can delete any of your usernames at any time.

• Usernames are unique. Once one has been used by another person on Air, it can’t be used unless they delete it.

• Usernames can contain lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores. They need to be at least five characters long.
