What is an Air profile?

Your profile consists of the following information:

• Your display name. This is how your name will appear to other people using Air and it has to be at least one character long. It’s visible to your Air contacts, anyone you send a contact request to, and anyone in a group chat with you. You can change your display name at any time in your profile.

• Your profile picture. This is shown to other people If you don’t add a profile picture, it will default to the first letter or number of your display name, shown against a neutral background. Like your display name, your profile picture is visible to your Air contacts, anyone you send a contact request to, and anyone in a group chat with you.

• Usernames. These are how you connect with other people using Air. Unlike the rest of your profile, your usernames aren’t visible to other users, even your Air contacts. You can have up to five usernames. To learn more about how usernames, see the section usernames.
