Linear integration

Integrating our service with Linear can help improve workflow efficiency by managing tasks seamlessly between platforms. This guide will help you understand the steps required to seamlessly integrate our platform with Linear.

Setting up the integration

To set up Linear Integration, ensure that you have administrative permissions on both our platform and the Linear workspace.

  1. First, navigate to 'Settings' on our platform.
  2. Under the 'Integrations' tab, select 'Add Integration'.
  3. Choose 'Linear' from the dropdown menu.
  4. You'll now be asked to log in to your Linear account, if not already done so.
  5. Next, you will be redirected to a Linear's consent page for granting access to our platform.
  6. Click 'Authorize', and you'll be redirected back to our platform.

Configuring the integration

To configure the integration to align with your workflow, follow these steps:

  • Go to the 'Integrations' tab in our platform.
  • Select 'Linear' and click on 'Configure'.
  • Choose the desired project and issue states that will trigger updates on our platform.
  • Once you have selected your preferences, click 'Save'.

Testing the integration

After you have configured the settings, it's recommended to test the integration:

  • Click on 'Test Integration'.
  • This will send a test issue to Linear. If everything is set up correctly, the test issue should appear immediately in the selected Linear project.

Managing the integration

Managing the integration is simple. You can edit, disable, or remove the Linear integration at any point by revisiting the 'Integrations' tab in our platform.
